The Department of International Medicare and Welfare was established in April 2014. In an era of internationalization, the number of foreign patients who come to our hospital for treatment is increasing, it reaches over 2000 a year. The Department is engaged in improving the hospital environment, arranging medical interpreters and translators and resolving all the other problems in the hospital, in order to make foreign patients receive the "safe and high-quality medical care" irrelevant to at home or abroad.
Fujita Health University Hospital has obtained the Japan Medical Service Accreditation for International Patients (JMIP). This is to certify that Fujita Health University Hospital can provide safe, reliable, and advanced medical care to foreigners.
