In 2011, we opened the Division of Quality Management in Healthcare to implement higher-quality healthcare practices. We undertake healthcare practices aimed to reduce risks for patients and their families as the Department of Quality and Safety in Healthcare.
Division of Quality Management in Healthcare
The Division of Quality Management in Healthcare proposes solutions for the issues identified for improvement of quality in healthcare. Our work is based on valuable messages and opinions from patients and their families in addition to a massive amount of safety management information for safety in healthcare. Working with the Division of Safety Management in Healthcare, we provide information on the usefulness of various treatments and their potential risks for patients and their families.
Division of Safety Management in Healthcare
The Division of Safety Management in Healthcare enhances monitoring functions at an individual and team level to provide safer medical services. In case a medical accident occurs, which must not happen as a matter of course, we strive to prevent it from recurring. For the sufficient safety of healthcare, we collect accurate relevant information about the accident and then conduct a thorough analysis.
Division of Infection Control and Prevention
The Division of Infection Control and Prevention implements a variety of activities to protect all people going in and out of the hospital, including patients, their families, and hospital staff, from a risk of infection such as a novel influenza virus. We provide education or counseling for the staff or students as well as planning and instruction for surveillance. We are also committed to early detection of outbreaks through our inspection in the hospital, epidemiological investigation and analysis, the creation of information reports on detected bacteria, etc.
