A Medical information manager is a specialist who can manage various information in a hospital, including medical records. We train health information managers who have excellent management techniques cooperating with other medical staff, and who are competent in the handling of medical information. All students obtain qualification for medical record and information managers before graduation.

There is an urgent need for those who are well trained in information-processing skills to offer high level medical services. Our department has a training room containing 122 desktop computers connected to a LAN (local area network), enabling students to learn intensively the latest information technology using various application software such as word processors, graphics, or programming tools.

We provide not only the knowledge required for medical administration, but also wide-ranging educational programs in the field of hospital organization, informational flow, internal medicine, surgery, and more. One of our targets during the course is the attainment of qualifications for medical treatment expense invoicing, medical secretarial skills, or for medical clerical work. Our graduates are greatly expected to play an active role in the field of medical office work.
