Clinical medicine proceeds through teamwork with cooperation between all types of medical staff including physicians, nurses, medical technologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and radiological technologists, as well as parents and their families. It is the responsibility of radiological technologists to provide physicians, with detailed radiological information to enable effective diagnosis and therapy for patients, using scientific and technological knowledge to the fullest. At Fujita Health University, students are trained to be the best radiological technologists and specialists who have acquired a wide range of scientific and radiological knowledge using the most advanced medical facilities.

Diagnostic radiology and radiological therapy are actively used in modern medical practice. Therefore, the consideration of radiological safety is demanded when treating patients using radiation.
In our faculty, the students are taught radiological technology and safety through clinical practice at the university hospitals. After their graduation from the university, they will be able to contribute greatly to a broad range of clinical medicine and health care.

Radiological technologists work with a diverse range of equipments. Their role is not only operating the equipment, but also communicating directly with patients as an important staff member on the medical team. That way, they can discover clues to accurately diagnose and treat patients using adequate radiation therapy. In our faculty, we educate students to cultivate their concept of medical care.
The students are engaged in patient care under the supervision of highly experienced radiological technologists at the university hospitals. Also, the studentsf perception of medical care can be enhanced from contact with various medical viewpoints.
