We will prepare 40 board stands for poster presentation. So, all posters should be prepared to fit in with the boards (110 cm x 175 cm).
We will also prepare projectors connected with Mac and Windows PC computers. So, please read the following information carefully:
1. Please bring your data on a USB memory stick or a CD disk.
2. If you plan to bring your own PC, you may use it in your presentation. However, please remember that we may require to copy your data on our computer at the conference site in the case of incompatible with our equipment for presentation.
3. The softwares available for presentation purposes are PowerPoint (we would prefer a Powerpoint 97-2006 file with .ppt extension to a PowerPoint 2007 or 2008 file with .pptx extension.) for windows and Mac and Keynote for Mac.
4. If you plan to use a motion movie in your presentation, the only software available is QuickTime format.
We would thank all participants for their co-operation, time and patience regarding these important points. Should they have any questions and/or concerns with respect to their presentation, please feel free to contact us at their convenience.
To ensure that the conference stays on schedule and runs smoothly, we would greatly appreciate their cooperation in adhering to the following points:
1. Please show up at the conference office at least 2 hours prior to their talks.
2. We recommend the use of computer-generated presentation. Video presentations will not be available.
We will have a plenary lecture by Dr. Arthur Arnold(6:00 pm-7:00 pm) in the international conference room of Nagaragawa Convention Center, and will open the evening reception immediately after the plenary lecture. We will be also able to have all participants register and to hand the booklet of the program and abstracts to them at the reception desk in front of the international conference room.
