感染症分野では主に、HHV-6、ロタウイルス、水痘ワクチンについての臨床ウイルス学的研究を行っています。またHHV-6、ロタウイルスに関しては、各種検査も受け付けています。検査依頼のページをご覧ください。

血液分野は、名古屋大学小児科に事務局のある小児再生不良貧血治療研究会のメンバーとして、臍帯血移植や2回目移植を担当して解析を進め、小児再生不良性貧血の臨床研究について取り組んでおります。また、日本小児がん研究グループ(JCCG)のHLH/LCH委員会委員として、血球貪食性リンパ組織球症(HLH)及びランゲルハンス細胞組織球症(LCH)といった希少疾患の病態解明や治療についての相談を受けております。
小児神経分野では患者さんの診療を軸とした臨床研究を行っています。扱う疾患は幅広く、てんかん、急性脳症、脳性麻痺、先天性脳奇形、新生児脳障害などの小児中枢神経疾患や、Guillain-Barre症候群、重症筋無力症、筋ジストロフィー、神経変性疾患、神経皮膚症候群など、多岐に渡ります。感染症分野や血液・腫瘍分野と共同して、下記の研究に取り組んでいます。
