International Students gathered at a Holiday Meetup

A week before Christmas, 14 international students gathered in a classroom decorated with Santa Claus and tree decorations for a holiday event hosted by the center for International Relations. At first, the students who were participating in the event for the first time looked a little shy, but after introducing themselves, they quickly became familiar with each other through games. On the day of the event, we took sufficient precautions to prevent Coronavirus infections, and had the students to participate on team games. In the game of carrying ping pong with a spoon, teammates cheered on the students in the relay, saying things like " Go Go!” and other cheers. The winning team shared their joy with each other. This game brightened up the students' faces and made the atmosphere in the classroom more colorful. In the next game called ” Drawing Telephone Game” was a big hit and sometimes the students laughed so hard at each other's illustrations. What was particularly impressive was that the students who participated in the event for the first time happily left their impressions, saying how much fun it was and how they would like to come to the event again in the near future. It seemed like the international students delivered the gift of "sharing a joyful time" to the Center for International Relations that night.
