Kaohsiung Medical University from Taiwan visited FHU
On July 11, Professor Emeritus Shun-Te Huang and nine other professors from Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan, visited Fujita Health University.
During their visit, academic discussions on the topic of rehabilitation and Iinter Professional Education (IPE) were also held. Doctors, nurses, nutritionists and others from both universities had an in-depth discussion on the field of Dysphagia rehabilitation, including clarification of the mechanism of dysphagia, food development for dysphagia patients, and utilization of CT.
There was an interactive discussion after the lecture on assembly education and the audience listened with great interest, stating that they were impressed by Fujita Health University’s unique and large-scale curriculum involving all the faculties.
Fujita Health University and Kaohsiung Medical University plan to start medical student and staff exchange activities in 2024, and will continue to further strengthen cooperation in the educational and clinical fields.
