Students from Khon Kaen University Visited FHU

From April to June, faculty members and students from Khon Kaen University (KKU), one of our university academic partners, visited Fujita Health University for short-term training program. For many years, Fujita Health University and KKU have been mutually sending and accepting students. This is the first time the exchange program activity is resumed since the Covid-19 immigration restrictions were lifted.

Students from the Faculty of Medicine, Rehabilitation, Nursing, and Medical Technology participated in their respective clinical sites, attending lectures and learning together with our students. Gen, a medical student from KKU expressed his excitement at the completion ceremony, "It was a great experience to observe the ward rounds and robot-assisted surgery with FHU students and to exchange insights with them.”. To him, the training program at FHU was a valuable experience for his future.

During their stay, various events and activities were held, including welcome and farewell parties organized by each department where they actively interacted with the students and faculty members of FHU. It was a wonderful opportunity for both sides to experience the cultures of the two countries.

This academic year, our students from the Faculty of Medicine and Rehabilitation have participated in the short-term training program at KKU in the spring, and the students from the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Technology are scheduled to visit KKU this summer.
