The President from Thomas Jefferson University visited FHU Campus

On April 20th, four professors, including President Mark L. Tykocinski from Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) visited Fujita Health University.
TJU and our university signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic exchange in March 2021 and have been promoting the establishment of student exchange programs, among other initiatives.
After arriving at our university, President Tykocinski and his delegation visited our on-campus "hinotori" surgical support robot and latest-technology rehabilitation facilities. They were fascinated by the cutting-edge medical practices at Fujita Health University.
During a meeting with five representatives from our university, including President Yuzawa and Dean Iwata of the School of Medicine, they discussed the possibilities of not only the implementation of student exchange but also joint research and other collaborations.
Both universities expressed their desire to deepen the exchange between the two institutions further.
