Young Doctors Meeting (Joint Session with JARM 2019)

Dear ISPRM 2019 participants,

Welcome to 13th International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine World Congress.

We will be holding a meeting for young doctors, to strengthen connections among them internationally. This meeting will share information about each country’s rehabilitation medicine and its environment through quizzes and games, served with Kobe cakes!

Rehabilitation Joy Network Program: Kimono Beauty at ISPRM & JARM

The Rehabilitation Joy Network of women rehabilitation doctors is holding a program entitled “Kimono Beauty at ISPRM 2019 & JARM 2019.”

The program will introduce the attractions of kimono, one aspect of traditional Japanese culture, to participants. Please do come and enjoy the events!

1. Kimono Exhibition

An exhibition of kimono and obi-kazari (accessories hung on obi, the traditional belts for kimono) will be held in the Exhibition Hall No. 2 Building (on the first floor of Kobe International Exhibition Hall No. 2 Building).
Images of kimono that can be worn in wheelchairs will be displayed.
There will also be numerous pamphlets to take away. Please do drop by!

2. Kimono Show

A Kimono Show will be held in the Networking Event venue.
Different sorts of kimono are worn in different seasons and on different occasions. The show offers a simple introduction to the various different types and grades of kimono.

3. Kimono Experience

Why not wear a kimono to the Networking Event?
Please do take this opportunity to experience Japanese culture.

Eligibility Participants in ISPRM 2019 who have registered for the Networking Event
Number of participants Maximum 8 people (first-come-first-served basis)
How to apply An application desk will be open at the Kimono Exhibition from 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 11.
If too many applications are received, the winners will be selected by ballot (drawing lots).
Details At 17:00 on Wednesday, June 12, successful applicants will assemble on the 5th floor of the Portopia Hotel South Building, where they will change into kimono provided by the Rehabilitation Joy Network before taking part in the Networking Event. More details will be provided after applications have been processed.
