Internationalizing FUJITA


Student Peer Support

Center for International Relations established the Student Peer Supporter (SPS) system to promote the exchanges between international students and Japanese students.
We provide information of international students visit to SPS registered students by LINE app and look for students to support them.
If you are interested in the SPS system, please attend the SPS briefing session.

* Students who have difficulty attending the briefing session will be explained separately at Center for International Relations. (on 3rd floor, University Building 2).

Activity contents

・ General support of international students
Tour on campus facilities when visiting school, introducing facilities around the university, etc.
・ Event planning and holding
Guide to Japanese restaurants and tourist spot as an introduction to Japanese culture

Activity schedule

Short-term international students stay at our university for about four weeks on April, June, July and December. SPS students will be recruited one month before the arrival of international students.

English Lounge

English Lounge has been set on the basement first floor at University Building 1 (see graphic below).
You can also use it as a place to study English and communicate with international students.

What you can do in English Lounge

Searching for academic partners information
You can search for information in the each partner school's brochure and see photos of students who have previously went abroad and international students.
Lending and reading of English books
You can read CNN ENGLISH EXPRESS and JAPAN TIMES. We have textbooks for TOEIC and TOEFL measures, so if you are aiming to improve your score or are interested in learning English, feel free to use them.
Exchange with international students
After the events (Ping Pong Night, etc.) hosted by the Center for International Relations, we may hold after-parties in the English Lounge.
International students can also use it as a break space, so you can talk to them and make friends!
