MOU with University of Ljubljana

On August 13, a signing ceremony for the two agreements was held at the University of Ljubljana in the capital of the Republic of Slovenia.
For this time, MOU was established between Fujita Health University and University of Ljubljana, and a research agreement was made between Fujita Health University, University Rehabilitation Institute, Republic of Slovenia, and Toyota Motor Corporation. From our university, Chairman Kiyotaka Hoshiaga and President Eiichi Saitoh attended the ceremony. Numerous media visited the signing ceremony and informed in news.
After the signing, Chairman Hoshiaga and President Saitoh paid a courtesy visit to the Presidential Office of the Republic of Slovenia. President Borut Pahor received strong support for the future cooperation between the two countries. At the partner University Rehabilitation Institute, Republic of Slovenia, President Saito gave a lecture on the theme of “Rehabilitation medicine and robotics” and received great applause from the audience. In addition, they visited the balance robot under development by the institute and discussed future joint research opportunities.
