Dr. Sopak Supakul has received the 11th (2026) Toshihiko Tokizane Memorial Award for Excellent Graduate Study in Neuroscience. The award ceremony was held during NEURO2026, the joint meeting of the 49th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society, the 69th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry, and the 36th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Neural Network Society.

According to the Japan Neuroscience Society, this award recognizes outstanding graduate research in the fields of neuroscience and brain science, encourages young researchers in these fields, and aims to promote the further advancement of neuroscience and brain science research in Japan.
