数週間前、カーディフ大学のCentre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and GenomicsおよびNational Centre for Mental Healthが主催する年次サマースクール「Summer School in Brain Disorders Research」に参加しました。
このプログラムを知ったのは、インターンとして活動していた際に、Fujita Mind-BRIDGe 国際シンポジウム2025でJames Walters教授とお会いしたことがきっかけです。そのときの出会いが、ウェールズのカーディフで開催されたサマースクールへの参加につながったことを、大変ありがたく思います。
世界各地から集まった医師や研究者と交流できたことは、非常に貴重な経験となりました。

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the annual Summer School in Brain Disorders Research, hosted by Cardiff University's Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics and the National Centre for Mental Health.
I first heard about the program while I was an intern, when I met Prof. James Walters at the Fujita Mind-BRIDGe International Symposium 2025. I'm grateful that a conversation that began there led to the opportunity to participate in this year's summer school in Cardiff, Wales.
It was an invaluable experience to learn from experts in psychiatric genetics while connecting with fellow doctors and researchers from around the world.
