My research has focused on elucidating the role of LAT1, a cancer-specific L-type amino acid transporter, in cancer cell biology using selective inhibitors. To investigate this, I have employed mass spectrometry-based techniques, including quantitative proteomics, phosphoproteomics, nascent proteomics, protease specificity analysis, and N-terminomics. I hope to leverage these experiences and technical expertise in future research projects.

Research Fellow
Xinyu ZHOU, Ph.D.
Using bioinformatics analysis, we investigate the transport mechanisms and physiological and pathological roles of LAT1. We also elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the anti-tumor effects of LAT1 inhibition and conduct research on cancer metabolism, cellular senescence, and the discovery of novel therapeutic targets.
