Fujita Mind-BRIDGe Retreat 2025 Held

The Fujita Mind-BRIDGe Retreat 2025 was held over two days, February 28 (Sat.) and March 1 (Sun.), 2026, at Loisir Hotel Toyohashi.
This retreat was organized as an opportunity to promote interaction among the institutions affiliated with the Fujita Mind-BRIDGe program and to encourage interdisciplinary research exchange.

For this event, we invited speakers from overseas and from outside the university to participate in a mini-symposium titled “Lifelong Brain,” which focused on understanding the mind and body through interdisciplinary collaboration across psychology, education, and medicine. The invited speakers presented their latest research findings.
In addition, many early-career researchers from Fujita Mind-BRIDGe partner institutions—including Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, the National Institute for Physiological Sciences, and Gifu Pharmaceutical University—participated in the retreat, leading to lively discussions.
During the poster session, participants exchanged ideas across disciplinary boundaries, creating an energetic environment for academic dialogue that truly embodied the program’s concept of “BRIDGe,” connecting different fields of research.

Participants commented that they “gained new perspectives” and “had opportunities to engage in deep discussions with young researchers from other universities.” The retreat provided a valuable platform for fostering future collaborative research and strengthening research networks.
Fujita Mind-BRIDGe will continue to provide an open and creative environment for research exchange, particularly for early-career researchers.
