In 2022, Fujita Health University underwent organizational reforms to strengthen its research capabilities. As part of this initiative, five research centers, the URA Office, and other foundational units for a research university were integrated into the newly established Research Promotion Headquarters.
The International Center for Brain Science, which focuses on psychiatry and neurology—fields that represent the university’s unique strengths and characteristics—serves as the core organization of Fujita Mind-BRIDGe, leading the implementation of this initiative.
In 2024, Fujita Health University was designated as a national translational support institution. The university has established a system to facilitate the transition from basic research to the practical application of pharmaceuticals.
