On March 14, 2026, a mini retreat was held in Inuyama City under the title “From Tradition to Innovation: The Spirit of Drug Discovery in Inuyama.” The event was organized to provide an opportunity for participants to step away from their daily routines, refresh both mentally and physically, and deepen the relationship through discussions on research achievements and ideas. A total of nine participants attended the retreat, including seven international students, one international member, and one faculty member.

In the historically rich setting of Inuyama, participants engaged in discussions on the connections between drug discovery research and the traditions of Japanese pharmaceutical culture. During the session, each participant introduced their research topic, followed by lively discussions and exchanges of ideas. These interdisciplinary conversations provided opportunities to gain new perspectives and explore potential directions for future research.
