Shane Arante had the opportunity to attend the annual Summer School in Brain Disorders Research at Cardiff University in Wales.
Reflecting on the experience, Shane shared: “A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the annual Summer School in Brain Disorders Research, hosted by Cardiff University’s Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics and the National Centre for Mental Health. I first heard about the program while I was an intern at Fujita Health University, when I met Prof. James Walters at the Fujita Mind-BRIDGe International Symposium 2025. I am grateful that a conversation that began there led to the opportunity to participate in this year’s summer school in Cardiff, Wales.
It was an invaluable experience to learn from experts in psychiatric genetics and to connect with fellow doctors and researchers from around the world.”
